Our Mission
The Curtis-Jones Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering individuals and communities through strategic grantmaking, resources, and partnerships. Building on the legacy of ALYF’s commitment to holistic youth development, we now extend our reach to support initiatives that foster educational achievement, personal growth, cultural enrichment, health and wellness, and community advancement.
We believe that by providing funding and resources to impactful programs, we can create pathways to success in education, leadership, the arts, athletics, and beyond—opening doors to unique opportunities that positively shape lives and strengthen communities. Our mission is rooted in the belief that every individual has the potential to “live beyond expectations” when given the right support, guidance, and opportunities.
Our Goals
Our goals are to support education and lifelong learning by providing grants to programs that promote academic excellence; empower community growth through initiatives that strengthen neighborhoods and encourage civic engagement; and promote health and wellness by funding efforts that enhance mental, emotional, and physical well-being. We aim to celebrate culture and heritage by supporting programs that foster pride and mutual respect, while also encouraging leadership and service through mentorship and skill-building opportunities. Additionally, we are committed to expanding opportunities for both youth and adults, helping them develop the confidence, discipline, and abilities needed to succeed in academics, careers, athletics, and personal endeavors.
